The days are still warm and long, and soon a bit of vacation time is on the horizon here at penumbra. But before that, we want to introduce you to four amazing new special edition leathers that perfectly capture the late summer vibes. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy them in other seasons as well! 😉
Occasionally, we come across beautiful materials that we can’t restock indefinitely. Leather hides, especially in unique colors, are often subject to trends. So when our tanneries or suppliers offer certain colors only seasonally, we can only reorder them for a limited time.
So if you fall in love with one of these four gorgeous colors, don’t hesitate too long, as we’re not sure how long we’ll be able to offer them.
But now, onto the good stuff: here are the colors ❤️
This leather shifts between various shades of green with a captivating hint of bronze mixed in—depending on how the light hits it. It always reminds me of late summer walks in the woods—everything is still green, yet the first golden signs of autumn are beginning to shimmer through. My absolute favorite pairing is with soft pink and rose gold hardware, but I’m always open to being surprised, inspired, and even persuaded differently by your custom combinations.

For a pop of color: babypink, dark pink, yellow
When I discovered this leather at a trade show, I had to order it immediately. The tannery is based in Greece, which perfectly complements the feeling the blue pattern evokes when I look at it.
I don’t know about you, but it instantly makes me think of vacation and relaxing by the sea.
The soft blues pair wonderfully with rich yellows and golds, but even more subtle combinations look fantastic with this leather.

For a pop of color: yellow
You’ve asked us about it so many times, and now we can finally deliver: soft pink. It’s a charming, delicate color that we previously featured in our Pride collars. Now it’s available for all our products.
I associate this color with early morning walks with our fluffy team member Oscar, when the world is still waking up and everything is bathed in a gentle light.

For a pop of color: teal, burgundy, dark pink, brown
This leather shines in deep red and exudes a considerable amount of elegance. While red wine isn’t one of my favorite drinks, if I had to describe this leather in a picture, it would be a glass of it against a spectacular sunset.
This leather is perfect for those who want something truly special but prefer to avoid bold colors.
