Every product you order is made just for you. The leather or vegan alternative needs to be cut with our laser, washed, and treated with leather care. Then, the material must dry before adding pattern backgrounds, lace, bows, lining, straps, eyelets, and rivets&#8230; all of this takes time. After that, your product is ready to be shipped.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that producing items made from white leather or the vegan alternative might take a little longer. We need to make sure it really stays white, which can be tricky, especially when working with the laser cutter. If something goes wrong, we need to start all over again.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to predict a timeframe for custom orders; that really depends on the project scope.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"rfb6\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-rfb6\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">How long does shipping take?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-rfb6\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We ship our parcels with the Austrian Post or with DHL in case of express shipping. Packages outside Austria will be handed over to a shipping partner by the Austrian post. We don\u2019t have any influence on who they work with.<\/p>\n<p>As soon as we hand the packages over to our shipping partner, these are the delivery times:<\/p>\n<p>Austria: 2-3 days<\/p>\n<p>Germany: 3-5 days<\/p>\n<p>EU: 4-7 days<\/p>\n<p>Europe (outside EU): 1-2 weeks<\/p>\n<p>Outside Europe: 2-4 weeks<\/p>\n<p>Express deliveries have the following delivery times:<\/p>\n<p>Austria 1-2 days<\/p>\n<p>EU: 2-3 days<\/p>\n<p>Outside Europe: 2-5 days<\/p>\n<p>Please note that shipping might take longer during the Christmas season.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"z099\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-z099\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Can you use another parcel service?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-z099\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Unfortunately, no. Our shipping contract is with the Austrian Post. We use DHL express for express shipments, but they come with an additional cost.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"z1a6\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-z1a6\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Tracking says my package hasn\u2019t moved in a very long time!<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-z1a6\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">This mainly happens with orders outside the EU. Usually, these packages are stuck at customs &#8211; this can take quite a long time (up to 14 days is considered \u201cnormal\u201d, unfortunately). We can\u00b4t influence this in any way.<\/p>\n<p>If a package hasn\u2019t moved for two weeks (regardless of the destination) we are happy to start an investigation for you. My circumference starts\/ ends exactly there. That means a size S collar (31,5-37 cm) will fit a neck that falls into that range. If your neck measurement is 37 cm, it will close at the last or second to last eyelet.<\/p>\n<p>If you want a collar that is perfectly tailored for you, you can choose our &#8220;custom size&#8221;. We\u2019ll create your collar so the buckle closes in the middle of the eyelets. The screw, on which the rings are screwed on, is sandwiched between the layers of the collar. This screw has different thread sizes depending on the ring size.<\/p>\n<p>The following ring sizes have the same thread (and can be exchanged):<\/p>\n<p>Small ring (14 mm) &amp; medium thin ring (20 mm) -&gt; both have a M3 thread<\/p>\n<p>medium heavy ring (20 mm) &amp; large ring (27 mm) -&gt; both have a M4 thread<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"x8f9\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-x8f9\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">We have lost the ring &#8211; what now?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-x8f9\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Our rings are &#8220;only&#8221; screwed on to give our customers the possibility to change or remove them by themselves. Unfortunately, this can occasionally lead to the loss of the ring. You can reorder our rings here.<\/p>\n<p>If you are sure that you do not want to remove the ring, you can fixate it with a drop of glue on the screw.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"g9e5\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-g9e5\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">The ring on my collar does turn\/ doesn\u2019t sit tight &#8211; why is that?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-g9e5\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">This is due to the way the collars are made. The screw where the ring is screwed on is sandwiched between the lining and upper leather. This gives our customers the opportunity to change the ring size or color by themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The best way to tighten the ring is to press your thumb against the base of the screw from behind and tighten the ring. The tighter the ring and screw are screwed together, the less it turns.<\/p>\n<p>If you are sure that you do not want to remove the ring, you can fixate it with a drop of glue on the screw.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"yad8\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-yad8\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Why can&#8217;t I order a lockable buckle for the leather &amp; lace or delicate collections?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-yad8\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">For the pin of the lokcing buckle we need oval eyelet holes for which we can\u2019t use metal eyelets. For other collections it is no problem to omit the metal eyelets and just slide the pin through the oval cutouts in the leather. However, the &#8220;delicate&#8221; and &#8220;leather &amp; lace&#8221; collections have a &#8220;lace overlay&#8221; or band which would fray completely if not secured with a metal eyelet. Please be careful not to use sharp solvent-containing cleaning aids for our leather or vegan products since they can harm the surface of the material.<\/p>\n<p>If you own a product made from real leather, it is a good idea to add some leather care as well. We like to use one with bees wax since it smells fantastic, acts as a moisturizer for the leather and seals the leather in a natural way.<\/p>\n<p>How often this should be done depends on the frequency you have your product in use.<\/p>\n<p>As a guideline: it is recommended to clean and maintain leather shoes every other week. However, shoes are usually put through way more stress than collars or cuffs. If your products are used very regularly (like a collar that\u2019s worn daily) we recommend cleaning and caring for it once a month. The less you use your accessory, the more seldom it is necessary to maintain them. Still, you shouldn\u2019t totally neglect it.<\/p>\n<p>Finally: it\u2019s also not good to over-care for your product, so please don\u2019t overdo it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"wb32\"><button type=\"button\" class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-wb32\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Is it ok if my product gets wet?<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-wb32\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">It\u2019s no problem if your penumbra product gets moist, for example when cleaning it. You shouldn\u2019t soak it, though, so please take it off before showering or swimming etc. Too much water on a regular basis will dry out and damage the leather.<\/p>\n<p>Our vegan products are a little less sensitive in that area, but they still should be handled with care when it comes to regular contact with water.
